Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority

The Athabasca Denesuline Education Authority (ADEA) is a First Nation Education Authority serving the three Denesuline First Nation communities in the Athabasca Basin of Northern Saskatchewan.

ADEA services four schools; Father Porte Memorial Denesuline School in Black Lake First Nation, Father Gamache Memorial School in Fond Du Lac First Nation, Father Megret Elementary School and Father Megret High School in Hatchet Lake First Nation. The Authority serves a total student population of approximately 1300 students.

ADEA maintains their Regional Office in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.
